Bio/Research

Doha’s research is broadly interested in business model innovation and applications of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things for value creation in the business and social sciences domains. His current research focuses on applied artificial intelligence for decision making and generative AI (GenAI) in domain-specific areas of knowledge. He is particularly interested in applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) in applications that include personal and organizational AI assistants, recommendation systems, e-commerce, crowdsourcing, semantic ontologies, and knowledge bases. He studies the major forces that influence the design and use of LLMs/GenAI in small to medium size organizations.
