Cameron Roberts studies low-carbon transitions from a social, political, economic, and cultural perspectives, with a particular focus on low-carbon mobility. He has worked on the development of new cultures of cycling in Canada, the opportunities and barriers facing vehicle electrification, the political economy of car dependence, and options for decarbonizing the plastics, steel, and aluminum industries. Currently he is using historical evidence to evaluate the prospects for various carbon dioxide removal and solar radiation management proposals.
