Noureddine is an archaeologist with research interests in Ontario archaeology, Egyptology, maritime archaeology, and eastern Mediterranean Bronze and Iron Age archaeology. He has actively participated in archaeological excavations covering periods like the early Bronze, Middle Bronze, and Late Bronze Ages, as well as North American historic and pre-contact archaeological investigations. His archaeological fieldwork has taken him to various locations, including Syria, Lebanon, Spain, and Egypt. He previously worked on excavations at Amenhotep III Mortuary Temple in Luxor-Egypt and currently contributes to the Spanish excavation and restoration project at Thutmosis III Mortuary Temple in Luxor-Egypt. Notably, he leads the underwater excavation project at the Phoenician harbor in Tyre. Noureddine earned his Ph.D. from the University of Granada, Spain, focusing on Harbours of the central Levantine Coast during the late Bronze and Iron Age periods. Additionally, he holds the position of president at the Canadian Archaeological Research Organization (CARO).
