Bio/Research
Amini's research interests include signal/Image processing, biomedical signal processing, statistical modeling, machine learning, data science and computer vision. She was a postdoctoral fellow at Visual Motor Research Lab in McGill Center for Intelligent Machines (CIM) and a lecturer at Electrical and Computer Engineering department of McGill University. She was ranked first in the Nature and Technology category to receive an FRQNT postdoctoral fellowship in 2018. She has served as a red judge in final round of IBM Watson AI XPRIZE, a global competition to develop powerful artificial intelligence technologies to tackle societal grand challenges. She is a Professional Engineer licensed in Ontario, Canada.
