Nelson, C.Dir., PAED, CAPA, is an expert in corporate governance, business ethics, and economic development, advising boards, corporations, and public institutions on strategy, oversight, and organizational resilience. He serves as a Governor in Council Board Trustee at the Canadian Museum of History and The National War Museum. He is actively involved in pandemic planning, business continuity, and crisis preparedness.
Nelson also works with Indigenous communities across Canada and the world, supporting economic development and good governance. He currently is working to create new health service providers, health networks and emergency management for BC Indigenous communities, applying governance best practices in culturally grounded ways.
He is available to comment on board governance, strategic leadership, sustainable development, corporate ethics, international development, corporate responsibility, Indigenous Issues and cross-cultural collaboration, bringing practical insight from decades of experience bridging academic research and real-world organizational impact.
